Kenyatta University Career Week 2022 began on Saturday 22 January 2022 and is set to end on Friday 28 January. The theme for this year’s career week is Dynamic World: Creativity, Innovation, and technology as the main skills for future work.

The Kenyatta University Career Week is a program organized by the University Administration to familiarize high school students with their careers and connect them to the corporate world as they prepare to join campus after form four. Some of the activities in the program include career guidance, guidance, and counseling from top educational officials in the country as well as interaction among students and various professionals in different fields of study.

The program also gives students an opportunity to explore the serene and convenient campus environment which may act as a motivation for them to work hard and join the university in the future. During the visit, high school students are taken for a tour around the university, viewing various iconic premises such as the Post Modern Library, Central Administration Complex, and the Campanile. They are also taken through the university’s history to get a grasp of what KU entails.

The 2022 career week was officially launched on Saturday at the graduation square where various speakers addressed the visiting high school students. The event was open for all secondary schools in the country regardless of level or status, and more than 200 schools were in attendance at the event.

The program shall run until Friday, a period in which many activities shall be taking place. More schools will be expected to knock on the university doors as students yearn to familiarize themselves with their careers.

The sponsors of the program include Kenyatta University, Coca-Cola, National Bank of Kenya, KUSA, Kasneb, Co-op Bank among others. If you are passionate about your career, make an effort to participate in the career week.
