Good news.

Put across a reasonable argument. Fight for not only those who believe in you but also those who don’t. Be consistent. This is exactly what I’m doing…being committed to the cause. As an elected leader in the K.U community, what I do must be to the benefit of my electorate, the comrades.

Not business as usual. Through a relentless push, the students – especially those who have at particular times found that they have misplaced their school identification cards – can now smile. I put up an idea during a management meeting as a representative of the students. Get the money from fee-overpayment. Brilliant; it was adopted.

As might be the case currently, students can now get a replacement of a lost ID using any fee overpayment in their accounts. This will go a long way in helping students who cannot raise the fee charged in cash. Especially with the now beefed up security at all university gates.

I am happy to report that the issue of faded/distorted photographs on ID cards will be looked into before any student is charged any money for a replacement. According to me, this should be totally free of charge if the quality of such a document wasn’t to be stepped up.

The only cash you got on you is 100/=? Worry not. You will and can be able to get the “paper” ID which you can use for as long as you wish at all premises in KU. This comes as a relief, you then have enough time on your hands to come up with the required amount for the smartcard.

Now onto my next big thing; I CHOOSE LIFE; I REJECT ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE.
