Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has handed a rare start to Nathan Ake at the back while Cesar Azpilicueta returns to the back three having played at wing-back against Manchester United. Michy Batshuayi is also given a rare chance to lead the attack with Pedro and Willian playing in behind him as both Diego Costa and Eden Hazard are on the bench.

Tottenham Hotspurs manager Pochettino has also reshuffled his side slightly from their 4-0 win over Bournemouth last time out, with Victor Wanyama replacing Ben Davies in a switch that sees Eric Dier drop back into a back three alongside Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen. Kieran Tripper replaces Kyle Walker in their only other change.

5′ Goal Willian
Willian steps up to take the free-kick and whips the ball past Hugo Lloris and into the far corner. The Spurs goalkeeper will be extremely disappointed to have been beaten there.

18′ Goal Harry Kane
Kane heads Spurs level!!! Erisken’s initial corner is cleared but the ball is worked back out towards him, and he cuts inside onto his left foot and whips in a low cross towards the near post, where Kane shows an extraordinary bit of invention to get extremely low to the ground and flick the header into the far corner with the top of his head.

43′ Penalty Goal Willian
Willian sends Lloris the wrong way from the spot and gives Chelsea the lead.

52′ Goal Dele Alli
Eriksen picks the ball up midway through the Chelsea half to the right-hand side of the goal and swings in a delightful angled pass into the penalty area, where Alli gets on the end of it and slots the ball into the roof of the net with a superb first-time finish.

75′ Goal Eden Hazard
Chelsea take the lead, Walker fails to clear a Chelsea corner effectively and the ball drops straight to Hazard on the edge of the box, and Hazard keeps his cool to drill the ball left-footed through several bodies and into the bottom right-hand corner.

80′ Goal Nemanja Matic
What a goal from Matic, Hazard plays a lovely one-two with Fabregas inside the right-hand edge of the penalty area before laying the ball off to Matic, and the midfielder thumps a ferocious left-footed effort in off the underside of the bar from 25 yards out.
